Smile – Dance of The Steps Video
Thursday 24th January is Global Belly Laugh Day. That’s right, on the 24th, everyone needs to have a really good laugh. Why? Because it’s good for you. Simple as that.
In various locations around Scotland Dr Suzanne Zeedyk, Starcatchers and Children in Scotland are staging Belly Laugh events to brighten up your day and to highlight the importance of laughter. You can get yourself some of these laughs by going to the venues on Suzanne’s website.
To mark these events, Dr Zeedyk is launching a number of new videos, which are aimed at anyone from busy parents interested in how their interactions shape their relationship with their children to childcare professionals who may want more insight into just how connected babies and young children can be with their environment and those around them. The videos will be available from her website either in DVD format or digital download and she will be giving away some free copies at the Belly Laugh events.

I have been fortunate enough to preview the videos and I found them very interesting and insightful. As I’ve mentioned in a previous post, I find it fascinating to see a professional’s interpretation of what most of us take as completely normal day to day scenarios. So much so that her DVD and individual advice really helped me get over some issues I was having with connecting with Olivia.
If you can make it to one of the events, I hope you have a good laugh and feel all the better for it. If you can’t make it, have a giggle to yourself anyway – everyone likes to see someone smile for no reason

I am so glad you like the films and that they help you to look anew at ordinary events in ordinary days. Thanks for helping me spread the word about the new films.
And even more, thanks for the endorsement for laughter, which we all take too much for granted. We’re going to be handing out Laughter Cards that folks can tuck into their wallet whenever they need a boost. I can’t wait for Thursday!
