You’ve probably been sitting since my last post thinking “so, is she? Isn’t she?”. I mean what else would you be doing? This is far more important than the Royal Bump (nice one Wills by the way).
Well, she isn’t. Or at least not from our escapade mentioned in the last post.
Were we disappointed when Aunt Flow came to visit? A bit. Were we relieved? A little bit. If my wife had been pregnant, that would have been our decision made. Wonderful and super exciting. But she wasn’t. Which meant we still had a choice.
For a while we went back to thinking we should stick with just Olivia. Enjoy things the way they were and not have to face the challenges a new baby would bring. Then the images of Olivia and a little brother or sister came back. The images of the house with more than one child. Olivia teaching her little friend (hopefully) how to do things. Too irresistible. We also know for certain if we don’t, we will regret it when it’s too late to have the choice. So we decided to screw it and go for it.
So once again here we are. Waiting a couple of weeks for confirmation. I’m exhausted. I’m not used to this. Not all in the space of a few days at least.
So please, cross all your fingers and toes and I’ll do my best to come through for you.
